Oral Surgery

Along with our routine dental care, we also carry out small operations to, for example, remove wisdom teeth, impacted teeth and teeth that are severely decayed or broken.

All our operations are carried out under local anaesthetic.

If you would prefer to have a general anaesthetic (when you are put completely to sleep), we can refer you to your local hospital. However, our dentists are very experienced and gentle and we would encourage you to try and have the procedure under local anaesthetic first. Any general anaesthetic has potential risks and side effects so it’s best to avoid one if you can.

At Alder Road our oral surgeon is able to carry out removal of wisdom teeth, surgical removal for severely broken down teeth along with sinus lifts.
